hi neighbor!
The local businesses that make West Colfax such a great place to live are facing major challenges during the road construction – like the loss of parking, closed intersections and blocked sidewalks.
It’s time for all of us to WALK, RIDE & ROLL along West Colfax, to ensure that these businesses are still here and our community is still thriving after the construction is complete. Here are some ideas for how you can do your part:
- Hop on your bike, scooter, skateboard, rollerblades – or just walk to the shops! Skip the traffic and driving hassles. Plus, it’s good for you and good for the environment.
- Order delivery. Most businesses will happily navigate the construction on your behalf.
- Shop online or via phone. Many of our businesses have online shopping available; get what you need via phone, Facetime, etcv.
- Buy gift cards. You’ll be able to enjoy them later while supporting small businesses now, when they need it most.
- Give your favorite biz a shout-out. It doesn’t cost a thing to give kudos via social media, Yelp, or Google Reviews.
- Let us know about businesses that need extra support. We’re here to amplify, encourage, and connect independent businesses in need to consumers who care: info@westcolfaxbid.org
