To fit the film’s fun theme of a pick-up baseball game between kids in the 1950s we’ll be serving up some baseball games in the field and cooking up some more adventures tied to the film. We’re hoping the evening will be a great night out for the neighborhood and show Denver why the new SLOANS development has found the perfect home in a wonderful area. Finally, June also brings us a project designed to ensure destinations in West Colfax like the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema are walkable. A crowdsourcing approach to infrastructure planning led by Place/Matters
and Walk Denver
, two “walk audits” will tap residents to document and assess pedestrian conditions. Join us to walk as well as socialize over pizza or beer. This builds on the comprehensive wayfinding system going in early this summer…
All these should be great opportunities to mark and contribute to the progress of W Colfax while having a great time. Hope to see you there!
