Resources for Developers
The BID works closely with developers to facilitate new investment to West Colfax. On this site, we have:
• complied an Aerial Map with Zone District overlay (courtesy of Denver’s Office of Planning and Neighborhood Development) and a map of West Colfax in Context showing forthcoming lightrail stops and bike routes connecting West Colfax to Auraria, LODO and downtown. The City’s Mapping Service provides accurate and up-to-date zone designation by address.
• developed a report on West Colfax Demographics and Market Conditions. Please contact the BID for its more comprehensive Spring, 2009 Market Perspective on West Colfax (too large to upload here).
• posted information on Main Street Zoning and Tax Credits.
• finally, we are also working to revise the Colfax Avenue Concept Plan so that the city’s permitting process does not inhibit development on Colfax. More information under “streetscape” available here.
